Campus and Facilities
BAS Aircraft Engineering Training Centre (BAETC) has a fully-equipped technical academy with state-of-the-art facilities that are regularly upgraded to meet international training standards for aspiring aircraft engineers to hone their craft and receive the best possible standard of academic study.
The Location
BAETC is conveniently located near Bahrain International Airport.
Classrooms
The campus comprises an administrative facility and 7 large classrooms with state-of-the-art training equipment and suited with high speed Wi-Fi connections to allow students to access online training resources.
Training Aids
Students are provided with training manuals, literature, required equipment, and stationery to facilitate smooth and effective delivery of lectures. Smart boards, overhead projectors, full audio and video equipment, cameras, printer and photocopiers, desktop computers and laptops are made available in all classrooms and a well-equipped library provides a complete collection of instructional materials and various training references to students.
Workshop Facility
BAETC’s workshop facility is located at the BAETC Hangar in the BAS Engineering Complex at the Bahrain International Airport campus. The workshop facility provides students with valuable hands-on engineering experience in a safe, operational environment. The workshop is equipped with computers used for electrical and avionics simulations, electronic laboratory equipment and trainers, cockpit training modules, avionics trainer modules, and electronic consumables.

- Basic electricity (module 3)
- Basic electronics (module 4)
- Digital techniques (module 5)
- Aircraft instruments (module 11, 13, 14, 15)
- Soldering, PCB fabrication
- Wiring and looming
- Other computerized lab exercises
