BAETC is currently accredited by EASA to deliver training in the B1 & B2 Categories. Both categories require a total of 2400 Guided Learning Hours which are completed during the first two-years of training.

Aircraft Type Training courses include theoretical and practical elements of specific aircraft types and consist of the appropriate courses in relation to the license holder’s privileges.

These courses cover initial and recurring training requirements designed to meet the specific needs of sponsoring organisations, with the content and duration being based on a thorough Training Needs Analysis.

This course is designed to provide engineers holding an ICAO License with the necessary knowledge to acquire an EASA Part-66 License. It is a condensed Basic Part-66 program run over 45 working days.

Upon completion of the two-year theoretical training and in order to qualify for a Part 66 Basic License, students are required to complete a minimum of 2 years work experience to acquire hands-on aircraft maintenance experience.
